Deep Ocean Species Paintings & Mini-Oracle Deck
These are gouache paintings based on species profiles in the online catalogue of the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. This turned into a collaborative project with my friend and artist colleague, Daniella Nicholas, in which we began putting together a miniature oracle deck prototype. Daniella developed text for the card readings based on ecological information about each species. I formatted small booklets to go along with card-sized printouts of the images.
