“SODO Story”: Aerial Variety Show

This show at Emerald City Trapeze Arts in Seattle, WA was a collaboratively choreographed production telling the tale of two lovers meeting across the divide between aerialists and flying trapeze artists. Inspired by West Side Story of course, each act furthered the storyline and engaged different apparatuses and characters.

I was a member of the aerialist crew, performing on silks, duo lyra, and ‘tippy lyra’ as part of a quartet.

I love theatrical performance and narrative through acrobatic work, so this show was a highlight of my career!
